If you have a website for your vacation rental, it is important that it functions well for inquiries and bookings. We offer two options for potential guests to make inquiries through your website: a simple inquiry form or a booking form.
An inquiry form
An inquiry form is a simple form on your vacation rental website where potential guests can express their interest by sharing their contact information and indicating their desired dates. When inquiring about a vacation rental, the request is not yet definitive, as you must first check if there is an existing booking and if payment has been received, etc. You will receive the inquiry via email at your own email address, allowing you to respond promptly.
The disadvantage of an inquiry form is that it does not directly synchronize with all the calendars you use to manage your bookings. Learn more about the benefits of a booking calendar in our blog post. Once you confirm the inquiry via email, you must manually add it to all your booking calendars to avoid double bookings.
An booking form
We can also add a booking form to the website, allowing potential guests to confirm a booking directly. In the form, they will see a calendar with available dates and can select their desired period. Once the booking form is fully completed, potential guests can make a direct (partial) payment.
An additional feature we can offer is particularly interesting if your vacation rental is listed on multiple platforms, such as Airbnb.com, Booking.com, and VRBO.com. We can connect your booking calendar on the website with these OTAs, ensuring that all calendars run synchronously and reducing the chance of double bookings.
